Founding LGSM members working with Stephen Beresford, Matthew Warchus and the Cast All the cast thought the story was very important as the current generation and generation before probably wouldn’t know the story, in fact, most of the cast didn’t. It has been so pushed back that history forgot it and turned it into an old wives tale. Some of the cast were lucky enough to meet their character and use them as a basis for how they performed and built up a backstory to create the most realistic and true person. Jessica Gunning was able to spend bountiful amounts of time with Si â n James and Joseph Gilgan could converse with Mark – the two being very active and supportive towards the film, wanting to get the story out and having confidence in the film’s potential for greatness. For the 8th season of the UKTV (soon to be moving to channel 4) show Taskmaster, the contestants had to pass a beach ball the most distance through filming it and using a match-on-action shot to seem as if they are passing the ball to each other. This is the video I produced with only my own clips as unfortunately the others were lost:

For this task we were given a piece of paper with a meaning that we had to create in a short film through mise-en-scene. Our meaning was, "someone receives a message that wasn't meant for them", so we decided to do a boyfriend that was getting messages from another girl. Unfortunately I was not given all the clips that were filmed so had to work with what I had.  This is the sequence I produced:

Over the Christmas holidays we were tasked with creating a number of ten second clips for a number of cuts. I had some trouble with the quality of the video as the phone I filmed on is quite poor. This is the video I created:

For this task, we had to create a minute long montage of someone missing a bus, waiting for it and then either getting the next one or missing the second bus. We used lots of jump cuts to create the montage effect. Here is the video we created:
