The Gold Rush Plan

The Gold Rush Remake

The scene we have is when Chaplin's character cooks his shoe and eats it as they have run out of food. In the film, the scene appears at 15:00 minutes.

Costume - Most of costume will be provided by the actors so it is the proper size but a coat and fake                    moustache will be provided from existing supplies plus a cane

Cast - Little Fellow: George Cooke
           Big Jim: Marcus Bale

Props - Old black shoe (charity shop or one not in use)
Strawberry laces for the laces so that they can be eaten
Black liquorice to look like shoe but is edible
A range of cutlery and plates to serve the shoe
Scarf to wrap around little fellow's foot

Setting - Spare room in school so there is a table and a decent space

Hair & Makeup - Dark shadows under eyes of little fellow and possibly curly hair
