Get Off My Land - Short Film Recreation Evaluation Todorov's Narrative Equilibrium - Couple are going on a walk through a field, thinking that it is a public footpath. Disruption - Man drives up in his car and tells them they can't be there. Recognition - Man points a gun at them, saying that he'll fight them if they don't leave. Attempts To Repair - Woman reassures him that they're going, so he doesn't need to shoot them. New Equilibrium - The couple is dead and the man goes off, keeping his land private. Mise-En-Scene Setting - The setting is a field/public footpath in the day time. Props - The props used are a gun and a car. Costume - The farmer is wearing a hat and rain coat and wellies. The man and woman are wearing casual clothes i.e. a jacket, coat and jeans. Overall Evaluation I think the film was recreated to the best of our abilities. Remember not all movies have to make you lose faith in humanity, as this one does the exact opposite. Finally, all I have lef...
